Grace Is at the Center of Everything We Do.

At King of Glory Lutheran Church, we believe God’s love is freely given, faith is a lifelong journey, and every person is invited to experience the transforming grace of Christ.

Centered in Christ. Rooted in Grace.

King of Glory is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

As Lutherans, we believe that God’s grace is a gift—not something we earn. We trust that Jesus Christ reveals the depth of God’s love for the world and that faith is formed through Scripture, worship, prayer, the sacraments, and life together in community.

We believe God is still at work in the world, calling us to love our neighbors, seek justice, care for those in need, and live with courage, humility, and hope.

Boldly Sharing the Grace of God with the World

Our vision is not simply a statement on a wall. It is the lens through which we understand worship, community, care, service, and ministry.

We are called to make God’s grace visible through the way we live, the way we welcome, and the way we serve.

That means creating a church where people can:

  • encounter Christ in worship
  • grow in faith
  • ask meaningful questions
  • build authentic relationships
  • receive care
  • discover their gifts
  • serve their neighbors
  • make a difference in the world

What Shapes Our Life Together

Grounded in Love

God’s love is the foundation of our life together.

We seek to reflect Christ’s love in the way we worship, care for one another, welcome neighbors, and serve the world.

Growing in Faith

Faith is not static.

We believe discipleship is a lifelong journey of worship, learning, prayer, questions, discovery, and transformation.

People of every age are invited to grow deeper in their relationship with God and with one another.

Generous in Serving & Giving

God’s grace moves us outward. We respond by sharing our time, talents, resources, and lives for the sake of others. Generosity is not simply something we give. It is a way of living.

Make a Difference

You Are Welcome Here.

King of Glory is a Reconciling in Christ congregation.

We seek to create a church community where people are welcomed, valued, and invited fully into the life of the church.

Our welcome includes people of every race, culture, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, family structure, background, and life experience.

We believe the church is strongest when the full diversity of God’s people is present, heard, and engaged.

Learn About Reconciling in Christ

Reconciling in Christ (RIC) is a public program and designation for Lutheran congregations, synods, and organizations that officially welcome, include, and celebrate people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions, while committing to racial equity and anti-racism work

What We Believe Shapes How We Live.

Belief becomes meaningful when it moves beyond words.

At King of Glory, our faith takes shape through worship, service, advocacy, care, learning, hospitality, and
community engagement.

Our priorities include:

Worship

We gather around Word and Sacrament, trusting that worship forms us for life in the world.

Faith Formation

Children, youth, and adults are invited into lifelong learning, spiritual growth, and meaningful conversation.

Community

We create spaces where people can build relationships, find belonging, and experience life together.

Care

Through pastoral care, prayer, Stephen Ministry, Healing Prayer, and other care ministries, we walk alongside people in seasons of joy, grief, transition, and need.

Outreach

We seek to serve our neighbors locally and beyond through partnerships, hands-on service, and advocacy.

Inclusion

We believe everyone should have meaningful access to worship, community, leadership, and ministry life.

Hands On Ministry for Everyone

At King of Glory, ministry is not something reserved for pastors or staff. Everyone has a place.

H.O.M.E. reflects our commitment to helping people

H — Hands On

Faith becomes something we practice, not merely something we talk about.

O — Outreach

We carry God’s grace beyond our walls into our neighborhoods and world.

M — Ministries

There are many ways to worship, serve, lead, learn, create, care, and participate.

E — Engagement

We invite every person to move from watching to participating. And through that life together, we help people:

Lutheran. Christian. Rooted in Grace.

As part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, King of Glory is part of a wider church committed to proclaiming Christ, serving our neighbors, and engaging the world with faith and compassion.

Our Lutheran tradition emphasizes:

  • God’s grace as a free gift
  • Scripture as central to faith and life
  • Baptism and Holy Communion
  • the priesthood of all believers
  • faith active in love
  • service to neighbor
  • thoughtful engagement with the world

We believe faith and questions can coexist. We value thoughtful conversation, theological depth, and a willingness to listen and learn together.

No One Should Walk Alone.

Care is a central part of our life together.

King of Glory is a Stephen Ministry congregation, which means trained lay caregivers serve alongside pastors to offer one-to-one Christian care to people experiencing difficult seasons of life.

We also offer prayer, pastoral care, Healing Prayer, and other forms of support.

Whether someone is grieving, facing illness, walking through transition, or simply needs someone to listen, our goal is to provide compassionate, confidential, Christ-centered care.
